So basically, Subaru is out of the story until they can get Al to undo the spell? And how exactly are they gonna do that?! If Betty was the only one that saw it, would he fight her? Between Betty's capabilities Al's authority, I'm not sure who comes out on top. If he told her this was Echidna's instructions, how would she respond to that? Oh man, and this is the arc where Petra is supposed to really be crucial, right? I'm so excited to see where this is going.

When al tastes petras cooking in chapter 11 does he remove his helmet? Also I think Aldebaran is from earth, but his authority is artificially created by echidna to mimic and compete with Satellas RBD. We see it described as RBD without love when subaru is (potentially) trapped in Aldebarans territory, the "without love" being a reference to how the concept of love eludes Echidna in the term "why must love fade". Also we know Aldebarans authority takes precedence over RBD as seen when delivering the letter to Yorna which makes it the ultimate counter to RBD. She probably developed it as a tool to gain more knowledge but couldnt use it as she already has an authority, though i like to think she wouldve made it to finally "save" her old friend.

Okay so Subaru got backstabbed again in the Pleiades watch tower? Who would have thought? but damn was I wishing for Al to be on Subaru's side their synergy would be crazy and would allow for Subaru to die less. Maybe Subaru learns to re-deploy his matrix (Long shot [pun intend]) but I think Subaru is about to get his mind blown away again and finally either he gets a little bit more powerful or he brings al to his side or maybe both really hoping for both. To update this with information from Arc 8, it seems that Al does take mental strain from dying in his Territory, at least when he is the “victim”, because he dies thousands of times and he certainly seems to be strained as the stress of failing and dying builds up, but he is likely used to ignoring that stress likely from all the times he had to use it (I’d assume from when he was a gladiator but I am not sure).

This is THE BEST adaptation of Re: Zero so FAR. Season 2 imo blew. The director did and awful job all around. The most important reason why the season SLAPS! Is the layered sound, music, and voice. It's an amazing mix and feels with the perfect emotions. Seriously the music is done much and better. The volume and swelling with other sounds and the voices of the characters and mixed and timed perfectly. Seriously..... I read the web novel and they only cut things that drag out the scenes. They move scene to scene at the perfect pace. It's better than the first season so far. The first season had a problem with the music, voice acting, not cutting enough in certain sections. Like Rem's EPISODE. The best part's in season 1 was when he started dying to the cult, whale, and Puck. The mystery and weirdness were perfect.

1. everyone in japan has dark hair 2. subaru and Al do NOT have the same way of speaking. whens the last time youve heard subaru say "kyodai" when referring to someone? i think he only did once in arc 1 when he wants to appeal to the dude in the slums so he can get an address to Felt 3. when talking about Al's authority, even you yourself use the term "resetting territory". this does NOT sound like RBD, and if theyre the same person then they should have the same authority 4. two people cannot have the same authority if authorities are directly tied to witch factors. and please dont use Louis as an example, that was a very specific thing she did with her own authority 5. the entire volcanica evidence for explaining why character designs change is completely a void arguement. every depiction of volcanica we see before seeing the actual dragon is usually folklore drawings. we can ALL agree that folklore (especially when its painted out) will always have inaccuracies with how people or beings looked like. people use their own imaginations.
